Sheila Golden grew up in New York and studied painting in
Provincetown with painter Morris Davidson and in New York City. She later moved to California where she graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in Fine Art. She has exhibited at the Sartori Gallery in New York City, and at the Vorpal Gallery in San Francisco and was an artist-in-residence at Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma, CA.
Her watercolors, acrylics and watercolor collage have been shown in numerous juried shows and her art is represented in many private and corporate collections in North America, Europe and Hong Kong.
Sheila's commercial work includes background art for
Sesame Street, KQED Television, Hallmark, PlusMark
(American Greetings) and Sunrise Cards.
Giclee canvas prints of her acrylic paintings are sold
online through major retailers.
